RE: Conduct of the Quarterly Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

MADAM,

Greetings!

The safety and welfare of our students and staff are our highest priority. To provide schools
an opportunity to practice emergency response procedures, the office of the Municipal
Mayor has asked all School Principals/Administrators of Elementary, Secondary and
Tertiary Schools (Public and Private) to participate in the conduct of the quarterly
nationwide simultaneous earthquake drill on August 08, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in pursuance to
Republic Act 10121 or the “Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of
2010.”

A letter Circular No. 03-2019 is attached to this letter.

The school will be practicing school evacuation as a part of the drill, the teachers, student
and staffs follow evacuation procedures according to the school disaster plan.
