Comparing Movements of Objects on Different Surfaces

Problem: How does the kind of surface affect the movement of object?

What you need:

Block of wood baby powder
Tape measure tape

What you need to do:

1. Secure the tape measure on the surface as indicated.
2. Using a steady force, slide the block of wood across the surface (make sure the wood is aligned to
zero (0)).
3. Do it three times.
4. Record your observation.
