E. Introduction  Teacher will ask and assess the level of familiarity of the
students of academic text.
 After brainstorming, a collective way of organizing the
information will be given to the learners.
 Digging deeper in the discussion, the teacher will swiftly shift
on the definition of an academic text using the brainstormed
ideas presented.

F. Development  The teacher will now properly discussed the academic texts,
specifically teacher will acknowledge the following:
o definition of academic texts
o types of academic text
o features of academic text across various disciplines

G. Engagement Students will be answering a specific work sheet in as an activity to


ponder and deepen the knowledge of the topic and its subtopics.
