FIRST JOINT COMMITTEE REPORT

FROM: COMMITTEE ON FINANCE, BUDGET, AND APPROPRIATION

AND COMMMITTEE ON ECONOMIC ENTERPRISE, TRADE,
COMMERCE, AND INDUSTRY.

SUBJECT: FY 2020 General Fund and Economic Enterprise Annual Budget

of the Municipality of Polomolok, Province of South Cotabato

FACTS AND FINDINGS:

1. The above measure was referred to the herein committees for

review and proper action on October 22, 2019;
2. The joint committee held a meeting on October 25, 2019 @1
o’clock in the afternoon, SB Session Hall, SB Building, this
Municipality, for the consideration of the abovementioned
measure. It was attended by the members of the joint committee
and presided by the Chairperson of the Finance Committee;
3. Upon deliberation, the joint committee found the following facts:

a. The programs, projects, and activities incorporated

therein were crafted purposely to provide social and
developmental services with the emphasis on the
health and nutrition, culture and arts programs,
payment of necessary expenses, empowerment and
development of a living, and common office and
travelling expenses;
b. That the abovementioned measure is in accordance
with the 1987 Constitution, Republic Act 7160
otherwise known as the Local Government Code, and
other pertinent laws and regulations;
c. However, due to the expected peculiarity and intricacy
of the programs and projects in the said measure, the
joint committee agreed that it would be better if it will
be discussed in the Committee of the Whole Meeting
for proper deliberation.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

With the foregoing considerations, the committee hereby recommends

the following:

1) To adopt this Joint Committee Report; and

2.) To submit this report to the Office of the Secretary to the

Sangguniang Bayan for them to schedule a special session with
the Committee of the Whole.
