The aperture is a great tool within photography as it allows the photographer to capture snapshots

of time that are concise and definable, taking these legible photos is referred to as being in focus. Take
the two above samples; the photo on the right is unreadable and the observer has no chance of making
out the engraved message, that is if they can tell there are any words at all. The photo on the left
however is clear and the message is easily read, this photo is in focus.
