University of the Fraser Valley

•The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) has 3 main campuses,

theAbbotsford campus, Chilliwack campus, and Mission Campus; If I get
accepted into and persue the Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree i will be
attending the Chilliwack campus and sometimes the Abbotsford campus.
•UFV has a smaller classroom occupancy which allows for more 1 on 1 with
teachers
•UFV is a part of the Canada West Sports Association. I would like to earn a
basketball scholarship for UFV and this division would be a really awesome
division to play in.
UFV would be a really good fit for me because…
• I can stay close to home and don’t have to drive very far for school and I won’t have
to pay for living on campus
•UFV located in an area full of mountains which is perfect for me because I love going
hiking and being outdoors
•I can play basketball at UFV because they play in a league that is suitable for my skill
level
•UFV has a program that I want to take the bachelors of kinesiology program.
• Also as I mentioned earlier the classroom sizes are smaller which is good for me
because I ask a lot of questions.
– This program teaches students all the need to know about kinesiology to
pursue a career in multiple different areas.
– Possible jobs include:Physiotherapy, massage therapy, physical education
teacher, rehabilitation assistant, personal trainer, occupational therapy,

STAT 104: Introduction to Statistics
Why did I choose
this program? – This program has courses that teach about biology,
physiology, and health and wellness which are all
areas I am very interested in.
– This program can provide me with lots of
knowledge on how to stay healthy mentally and
. physically . I would like to get a job where I can heal
people and make them healthier, and this program
can help me do that.
– I am especially interested in how the body works
and heals itself, this program can teach me all
about that.
– Each 3 credit course costs $507 and each 4 credit course costs $676
my first semester will cost between $5,070 and $5,600. That
doesn’t include extra fees for books or things like that. An
estimated cost for books and extra fees is $1700 per year. That
means that for 1 year of schooling it will cost between $6,770 and
Cost and payment $7,300.
plan. – To pay for my schooling I plan to apply for scholarships to help
with the cost and I will also be applying for student loans. I can’t
say for sure how much I will have to spend on my schooling
because I don’t know how much money I will get from
scholarships.
