Preparing for Eternity: What This Generation Needs.

(Ezekiel 3:7-9)

(Ngunit hindi sila makikinig sa iyo pagkat ako mismo'y ayaw

nilang pakinggan. Matigas ang ulo nila. 8 Ngunit ikaw ang gagawin
kong katapat nila. Patitigasin ko ang iyong kalooban, tulad
nila. 9 Patatatagin kita tulad ng isang batong-buháy. Huwag kang
matatakot sa mapaghimagsik na sambayanang iyon.”
Introduction

I believe that as believers, we are to be defined by the times we

live in.
1. The New Normal as a crossroads
It could either be the beginning of the end times or it could
be a beginning a great revival.
2. The end of the pandemic does not mean a return to the
“good old days” This is a whole different world.

A New World
1. More difficult questions will be asked
2. Unanswered questions would prompt some to leave the
fold
3. Persecution

3. As the crisis begins to abate, there is a truth that is slowly

becoming apparent – that this would be a whole different
world from the old one, hence, this new world requires a
whole different kind of believer.
What does this Generation need?

It needs God’s Genuine Servants.

What Kind of a Genuine Servant?

1. A Servant Who has the Word in his/her Heart

(Ezekiel 3:1-3; 3:10)

 Sinabi pa sa akin, “Kainin mo ang aklat na ito. Pagkatapos,

magpahayag ka sa sambahayan ni Israel.”

Ngumanga ako upang kanin ang aklat. 3 Sinabi niya sa akin,
“Kainin mo ito at magpakabusog ka.” Kinain ko nga ang aklat. Sa
aking panlasa ito'y kasintamis ng pulot-pukyutan.

Ezekiel 3:1-3

Sinabi pa niya sa akin, “Pakinggan mong mabuti at tandaan itong

sasabihin ko

2. A Servant who know the Lord in his/her entire being

(Ezekiel 3:14)

“Naramdaman ko ang kapangyarihan ni Yahweh at nag-

aalab ang galit ko habang ako'y inililipad ng Espiritu. “
 3. A Watchman

(Ezekiel 3:17)

Ezekiel, anak ng tao, ginagawa kitang bantay ng bansang

Israel. Makinig ka sa aking sasabihin, at bigyan mo sila ng
babala. 

4. A Servant Who Is Unyielding

(Ezekiel 3:4-9)

 
Sinabi niya sa akin, “Ezekiel, anak ng tao, pumunta ka sa
sambayanang Israel at sabihin mo ang ipinapasabi ko sa
iyo. 5 Ang pupuntahan mo ay ang sambayanang Israel, at
hindi ibang bansang mahirap unawain ang salita. 6 Ang
pupuntahan mo'y mga taong nakakaunawa sa mga
sasabihin mo. 7 Ngunit hindi sila makikinig sa iyo pagkat
ako mismo'y ayaw nilang pakinggan. Matigas ang ulo
nila. 8 Ngunit ikaw ang gagawin kong katapat nila.
Patitigasin ko ang iyong kalooban, tulad nila. 9 Patatatagin
kita tulad ng isang batong-buháy. Huwag kang matatakot
sa mapaghimagsik na sambayanang iyon.”

Being a Christian will only get harder as the Time of the Lord’s Return comes closer.
