1. Our company will manufacture batteries for smartphones, which will be among the
best in the market with high quality standards and a competitive price

2. In the first part of the production we obtain the lithium from the mines, this arrives to
our company in barrels mixed with water, in the extraction area, we use resistors to
evaporate the water and leave only the lithium in dust, in this area we have our first
quality control, because we do not want there to be impurities in the lithium after the
drying process.

Then in hydraulic presses we make copper sheets for the anode and aluminum
sheets for the cathode, then both sheets stop by a conveyor belt to a blower, which
adds a thin layer of lithium to the copper sheet and a layer of graphite to the
aluminum sheet.
In this part we have sensors that check that the sheet is completely coated with the
lithium and graphite layers respectively.

Then, in the assembly area, automated machines join both sheets face to face and
join them with a separator.
Finally they go to the machine which rolls up where they are wrapped in a circular
form if the battery is cylindrical or in the stacker if the battery is flat and they are filled
with electrolytic liquid and sealed hermetically.
In the final part, we check the battery completely for leaks with specialized
supervisors, and we also check the voltage and current of the connections to rule out
internal faults.
3. For the system, a batch of the total production is taken, from 1000 batteries 100
are taken, tested for discharge at room temperature and other thermal conditions.
The data obtained from the usage tests are also stored to analyze the consumption
of different applications, the power consumption of the display, among others. These
are stored in databases to analyze variables such as variability of responses to
different tests, for example, histograms, scatter diagrams, trend lines. From this
historical data of the previous tests it is determined if the quality has decreased, been
maintained or improved.
A weekly historical average of the batteries is performed to quantify the number of
batteries tested and to identify the levels of product reliability.

4.
● Achieves improvements in the short term and visible results.
● The costs of manufacturing products and providing services are reduced.
● It is a system that favors a vital issue for all companies today: to increase
productivity and focus the organization towards competitiveness.
● It contributes to the adaptation of processes to technological advances.
● It allows to detect and eliminate repetitive processes.
● A fundamental aspect of the cycle is the sources of learning it provides, to
progress in each process of the organization and learn from mistakes.

5. First we must perform a marketing study to know what our potential customers are
looking for and what their needs are, then we define a production process, then we
must make an inspection to the production process to know how many products do
not meet the quality criteria and finally we must make a statistical control to know with
total certainty what is the percentage of products that have failures in order to find a
way to reduce that percentage of defective units and also make corrective measures
on the processes.
