I am writing to express my interest in joining your leadership team. With 11 years of providing training
and being a component of leadership teams, I am experienced with organizational policies, leadership
development, project management, and facilitating a framework of support and intervention that will
align with organizational goals. My goal is to lead and cultivate a department by providing innovative
structural techniques and strategies to continue to strengthen, cultivate, and lead a team to
organizational success.

During this unprecedented time of an epidemic and collaborating with a small team to develop a
program and its components remotely for family and community engagement initiatives, I have taken
advantage of this time to embrace the challenges that the district and community has faced with virtual
learning, student retention, and parent engagement by strengthening my professional skills to simplify
difficult tasks and instructional techniques with the use of virtual platforms for
communication/marketing, professional development, and equity and outreach.

I have successfully managed a caseload of 32 campuses as a district specialist and facilitated the
establishment of non-profit organizations by building relationships with campus officials and linking
learning to families to align organizational initiatives. By establishing community partnerships, I have
provided support to campuses and families with departmental and district events to provide parent
advocacy and sharing power. Also, I have created a departmental database to easily navigate and access
pertinent department documents and information and managed a team of 8 to develop virtual parent
workshops on various topics to support student achievement. In addition, I am data-driven and
experienced with software for analyzing and creating weekly data reports for management and
productivity.
