I am eagerly applying for your recently publicized Pre-Collegiate Program Coordinator position
at Pasco Hernando State College. I recently graduated with my Bachelor’s in Organizational
Administration Supervision and Management Degree from PHSC. My achievements and skills,
along with my genuine empathy for people make me a perfect match for the opportunity. I am
easily approachable with a straightforward communication style.

I have held several student positions at PHSC, including Peer Mentor for two years, Career
Services Intern, and President of CRU for two years. I have also volunteered for the past four
years for several Student Life events on and off campus for PHSC. In addition, I actively
volunteer for the United Way of Hernando County Community Investment Grant (CIG) Review
Team, Rotary Club of Spring Hill, and mentor several children in Take Stock for Children. The
students that I mentor find me to be non-judgmental, friendly, accepting, and sociable.

I have proven excellence in past and present leadership positions. In fact, I was recently awarded
the Dr. Felisha R. Baker Outstanding Student Leader Award. I believe that the skills and
experiences that I have gained while working and attending the PSHC makes me an ideal
candidate for this position.
