    CARBONACEOUS BACKFILL

    All the products are supplied in 25 kg multiwall paper sacks, packed 1000 kg per pallet
    and shrink cover wrapped.
    Petroleum Coke
    Petroleum coke suitable for deep bore holes where slurry pumping may be necessary
    and includes a wetting agent.
    Typical Analysis
    Ash: 0.2 %
    Volatiles: 0.4 %
    Moisture: 0.5 %
    Fixed Carbon: 98.9 % (on a dry basis)
    Sulphur: 0.9 %
    Bulk Density: 840 to 1000 kg/m3
    Resistivity: 0.15 Ohm.cm
    Metallurgical Coke

    Metallurgical coke breeze suitable for standard horizontal or vertical groundbeds (not
    suitable for boreholes)

    Typical Analysis
    Ash: 8%
    Volatiles: 1%
    Moisture: 10 %
    Fixed Carbon: 90 % (on a dry basis)
    Sulphur: 1.2 %
    Bulk Density: 500 to 600 kg/m3
    Resistivity: 35 to 55 Ohm.cm
