SIX REASONS FOR CONDUCTING RESEARCH IS COOL

The word ‘cool’ is a tricky concept or so called ‘aesthetic’ is an especially ubiquitous slang word,
most notably among young people. In this sense, cool is used as a general positive epithet or
interjection, which can have a range of related adjectival meanings. However, pursuit of
research also has many qualities that make it a cool. Here are the 6 reasons why conducting
research is cool.

First reason – in the process of conducting a research we are able to find the answers to our
questions or unintentionally discover new possible things.

Second reason – same with general assumption in mathematics. Wherein, our brain is
dramatically making our minds more conscious. Thus, enables our brain to develop its way of
thinking as we find answers and think critically.

Third reason – the feeling of satisfaction or the feeling of being able to achieve something. Upon
gathering data that would be interpreted as answers. We may feel satisfaction and achievement
on every development and steps that are being successfully done.

Fourth reason – the experience as research is conducted. Specifically, are those on

observations or on travel. It is also rather cool, how you collaborate with someone as you
conduct a research. Situations that are bad or good, but made us realize and made us learn
something.

Fifth reason – the legacy that will be left for the future studies/researches and future
beneficiaries. It is cool, just thinking that you are able to help someone in the future. Thinking
that someday your research will be used as a basis of more interchangeably and innovative
study.

Six reason – the development. Development in knowledge, technology or way of life. It is cool,
to just think of these things while you are ounce step on conducting a research. It doesn’t just
end there, in connection to experience. You as a researcher who conducts a study also undergo
into a development. One basic development I can think of is knowledge (critical thinking,
vocabulary, decision making skills and etc.).

In conclusion, conducting a research is really quite cool.
