Cross-cultural and diversity coaching

The best practices of cultural and diversity coaching that can be adopted into the
whole tourism hospitality industry in the Philippines are the training program and
undertaking regular progress reviews. Just like the Royal Caribbean Cruise, they have
training programs that helps the employees to learn more about their work and also to
learn to work as a team. It also helps to gain more knowledge, skills, experiences and
capabilities regarding to their position. With the training program, they can make sure
that everyone can handle and ensure the safety and security of their guests. The
managers also regularly check in with the group to assess member satisfaction as well
as performance. They look for problems in coordination, relationships and information
sharing. With these two practices I can say that It will be a benefit if we adopt these
practices into the tourism and hospitality industry.

One of the best practices of cross cultural and diversity coaching of the Royal
Caribbean Cruise that can be adopted in the tourism and hospitality industry here in the
Philippines is their training program. Every month they conduct a training program to
help their employees learn about their work and also to learn how to work as a team.
Since in our industry we need to be professional at all times and also we also need to
know or learn the different cultures of different nationalities so that we can have a better
connection with the guests.

Their training program also helps the employees to gain more knowledge, skills
and experiences. The training program also includes teaching safety protocols to make
employees aware and also, they can make sure that everyone can handle and ensure
the safety and security of their guests. Second, the managers regularly check each
team of their organization to assess their member satisfactions as well as their
performance and also they ask if their employees have a problem or concern so that if
there is, they can fix it immediately. So, with these two practices I can say that it will be
a benefit if we adopt these practices into the tourism and hospitality industry.
