Causes of lack of motivation

Causes of lack of motivation to students, students who have poor self-image tend to avoid
task or activities that they think is beyond their capabilities they rather not risk to do the task
because of their fear to fail .Great school(2014) human asses phenomenon and study attributing
them according to realities , perception , attitude ,values, thought and behavior in his/her life in
this sense motivation is a complex concept involves individual thoughts and reasons of lack of
motivation hat is involve to their beliefs , desires , need and fears in process of an activity
.Sozer(2013).

Students are very excited and motivated at the first day of school, however as time goes by their
excitement whereas off more and more causes of this lack of this motivation are, lack of
confidence, poor school system and lack of comfort and safety Prokopi(2020).Present series of
studies sought to develop and conceptually validate a taxonomy of reasons such as ability
,beliefs , effort, characteristics and view of study tasks . Results coincided in terms of an
increased conceptual understanding of academic motivation and implications curricula and
interventions are discussed. L. Legault (2006)

If a student have been struggling with motivation lately, students have to take a comprehensive
look at their school causes of lack of motivation such as students lack of reason why, students
don’t believe in their selves, students are simply exhausted, fear is holding them back, their
unhealthy lifestyle is taking a toll, they set their goals to big and they are impatient Huber
(2018). There can be lot of accomplishments if students were to get the work done and things
like not doing enough, depression, feeling overwhelmed, trying to please everyone, having a
mixed mindset and they settle for less that block their goals S. Kirby (2019).
