Nike

1. I enjoy Nike products because they are super comfortable and keep up with
the trends. I first got exposed to the company through kids at school wearing
Nike shoes. I eventually got some Nike shoes and other apparel like shorts
and hoodies. They kept me as a customer because the clothes were very nice
and comfy.

2. Nike’s competition is Adidas. The competition is healthy in retail because it

gives the companies challenges of new products and lowering prices to
compete with the other.
Marketing Mix- Urban Outfitters
1. Products- Clothing, footwear, accessories, beauty products, home decor
and more.
2. Price- Pricing is generally more expensive than other stores, but because
they have a wide range of products, the price can vary.

include Israel, Italy, Sweden, and many more.
4. Promotion-The franchise has an Affiliate Program for customers to get
first looks at new products as well as access to certain deals.
Urban Outfitters

★ I enjoy Urban Outfitters because of their range of products. There are

many different things to choose from and you can almost always find
something you are interested in. This helps me when I don’t know what I
want to buy specifically.
★ I was first exposed to the company because of different influencers on
YouTube as well as Instagram.
★ I am still a customer because the quality of their products are generally
better quality than other fast fashion brands. They also have a lot of
different sizes, which helps me feel most comfortable in what I’m wearing.
Under Armour Marketing Mix
★ Product- Under Armour has a wide variety of products, it mainly includes
sports attire.
★ Place- There are about 15,000 Under Armour stores throughout the
globe.

wide price range depending on the item you are purchasing.

Under Armour

1. I enjoy Under Armour products because they are comfy and affordable. I
was first introduced when I saw kids wearing Under Armour at school and I
thought I’d give it a try. They kept me as a customer because of their
affordable prices and super comfortable clothes!

2. I say that Nike is Under Armour's biggest competitor just because of the
similarity in products. It is a healthy competition because it gives some
balance in the sportswear area. It gives them a good competition to work with.
Competition in the Retail Industry
1. Walmart vs. Target- Walmart and Target hold the names of the most
popular retail stores. Both companies have a large range of products with
low costs. This is healthy competition, and as the years go on both
companies add more features to appeal to customers, such as curbside
pickup and.
2. H&M vs. Forever 21- Both of these stores are some of the most popular
fast fashion brands. They are constantly lowering their prices and
expanding their company. This does turn into a little unhealthy
competition though. While the prices do become lower, their products
are constantly decreasing in quality and design.
Demographics vs. Psychographics
★ Demographics is someone's age, gender, income, religion, etc.
Psychographics is someone’s interests such as watching football, painting,
baking, etc.
★ Companies use this to determine selling their products by taking surveys
from their audience and seeing what is in style so they can pay attention
to their target markets interests.
★ A product I use are the Women’s Nike Air Max Motion 2’s. The
demographics for Nike are ages 15-40, middle-class, men and women.
The psychographics for Nike are people who are interested in
sports/athletes.
Business Owning
4. An entrepreneur is someone who has an idea and decides to start a
business. A sole proprietorship is a one person owned company. A
partnership is when two or more people own a company.

★ One sole proprietorship is Draper James by Reese Witherspoon.

★ An example of a partnership is Shein.
