Project 3 Brief
Commercials are an incredible source of information, entertainment and a platform for talented
filmmakers to experiment with ideas, techniques and persuasive messages.
This project will give you the opportunity to work as a team and develop an idea, research and
plan the idea, and create an advert incorporating an interactive element.
Overview
You are going to work in a team to plan, develop and produce a 30 second advert for a product/
service of your choice. You will determine your audience, carry out pre production paperwork and
processes and log your individual input in a detailed Production Weebly. As a team you will create
the advert and campaign developing camera work and editing skills while exploring and adding an
interactive element of media to your project.
Task
1. Pre-production Folder—This is a group folder that will contain all pre-production paperwork,
evidencing pre-production processes and planning. See checklist Monday 8th February—5pm
2. The Advert — 30 seconds exactly SCREENING Thursday 11th February—10am
3. The Poster & Interactive Element—You will research and create an interactive element to run
alongside your advert. You will present this to the group on screening day. Thursday 11th
February—10am
4. The Online Weebly—This is individual and will provide evidence of your reflection on skills and
methods you have explored in this project and will consolidate your learning. This will also in-
clude a sections on Ideas development and Research. Thursday 11th February—5pm
5. Final Evaluation Team discussion—video recorded and added to weebly (10 min max) Thurs-
day 11th February 5pm
