Script for change batch characteristics

Steps: 1:-

Run the transaction MSC2N

Specify the fields value

Material no. , Batch , Plant, Storage loc. and hit enter.

You can get to see the whole data as per your provided information
Steps: 3:-

If you want to change the expiry, date and manufacturing date of the depicted batch

Then change its Date (Expiration date) and Date of manufacture field.

Note:- Date and Date of manufacture date fields are mandatory ,So you can’t skip it, you must have
to specify a date range.

Fields information
Date:- Expiration date

Date of manufacture: Manufacturing date

Available from : You can set a limit , from which date this batch will be available

Deletion flags
If you need to delete this batch , you can simply tick the check box as per your
requirements.

Deletion flag batch stock: If you tick this check box then the specified batch will become inactive
for the given storage location, but still you can use this batch in different storage loc.(if relevant
stock of this batch available).

Batch Deletion Flag: If you tick this check box then this batch will become permanently inactive for
whole organisation.

Batch Deletion Flag at a plant: If you tick this check box then this batch will become permanently
inactive for the specified plant.
Steps: 4:-

Here, in classification tab you need to specify the Remaining shelf life for the given BATCH.

Steps: 5:-

Here, in change tab you can monitor the changes against the specified batch.
