Thank you for your recent request for quotation on a Transformer Oil Regeneration Plant.

, has been engineering and supplying Oil Purification Equipment to the utility industry for over 42 YEARS and has built a reputation
as one of the premier suppliers of this type of equipment.

We are pleased to quote as follows for , Vacuum Oil Purifier systems which will bring you these special benefits:

UNIQUE ACCELERATOR ELEMENTS The vacuum chamber elements have glass fibres which are radially oriented and axially
compressed. Other glass fibre elements are produced by rolling up a mat, which results in axial fibre orientation. The radial fibre
orientation of , accelerator elements present a higher point of release density to the process oil and permit effective degassing at lower
temperatures, only 27oC.

The low processing temperature reduces the loss of light ends from the process fluid and avoids the degradation of fluid properties.

INDIRECT HEATING ELEMENTS We use custom made heating elements with an air gap between the element and the heating
surface. Commercial heating elements of the same nominal heating density have hot spots which cause local overheating and
cracking of the process fluid.

LEAK FREE OPERATION Welded piping and O-ring unions are used wherever possible to provide leak free operation even after
years of over the road hauling.

PROVEN DESIGN The system design is based on a proven standard and is not a first time unit. This brings the benefit of
progressive product development and practical experience from other equipment doing the same job.

OPEN SYSTEM ,’s Transformer Oil Regeneration System doesn’t have any hidden royalties for oil processing nor are there any
restricted access areas. Our systems are totally open with free access to media change-out and operation of the unit.
The system we propose is comprised of the following:

ITEM #1 - , Model E575R-8000-T-10E-PAM-C1-38-X Trailer Mounted Transformer Oil Regeneration

System, as described in the attached Specification, Component List, Product Brochure and Options
specification. The following items are included in our proposal:

- Option ‘38’: 380V-3P-50Hz electrics

- 8000 lph rated flow capacity for the oil purifier
- 10 regeneration columns in a single bank with rated regeneration capacity of approximately 4000 LPH
- 2500 KG of High Grade Reactivation type Fullers Earth
- 96kW of Electric Heat controlled in 3 stages
- Option ‘P’:5 micron after filter
- Option ‘A’: ½ micron after filter
- Option ‘M’: Electronic in-line flow totaliser with digital display
- Option ‘C1’: One (1) electronic vacuum controller with 1 probe to monitor vacuum level in the vacuum
chamber of the oil purifier.
- Option ‘B’ – All fuses shall be replaced with circuit breakers
- Busch RA160 rotary vane vacuum pump (198 m3/hour) and Kinney KMBD 720 Vacuum Booster Pump
(1220 m3/hour)
- PLC Controlled Automated operation using Allen-Bradley PLC and a 12.1” HMI touch-panel (Human
Machine Interface). HMI will incorporate ,’s “One-touch start and One-touch Stop” automated control system.
This system allows for the easy and automated operation of the equipment and is capable of monitoring entire
process on screen including pressures, temperatures, moisture, vacuum etc. and includes full data-logging
capabilities.
- PLC program will allow remote monitoring and access to control system from Canada for customer technical
assistance when required.
Option H2 – Two digital oil hygrometers installed on the oil inlet and oil outlet lines to measure and monitor
moisture levels on the oil inlet and oil outlet lines
Oil Hoses- 2 x 30m oil hoses with kamlock connectors. Hoses stored in PVC pipes along trailer wall
Power Cable – 30m power cable (individual cables) stored on motorized cable storage reel

TOLMS Option (Transformer Oil Level Monitoring System)

The system incorporates a Transformer Oil Level Monitoring System or TOLMS. The system connects the transformer
(located up to 30 m away Unit) and the oil processor together and integrates the flow control between the two. Level
control within 4 cm in the transformer is possible. Various levels of alarm alert the operator to the level deflection from
the original set-point. At the extreme, for example in the event of a hose burst, the TOLMS will shut down the Oil
Processing Unit and isolate the transformer automatically. The , system will not alter the oil level in the transformer. If the
oil falls below a specific level then an oil leakage between the transformer and the vacuum oil purifier is evident. An
automatic valve at the bottom of the transformer will close and a check valve at the top of the transformer will not allow
oil to drain from the transformer. The oil level is monitored by a level transmitter that can be inserted into any opening in
the transformer body. This level monitoring system provides for environmental protection as well as safety of operation
while processing on an energized transformer.

DBPC Additive System - The E575R, like conventional Fullers Earth systems, strips additives, both natural and artificial
from used transformer oil. It is sometimes desirable to replace these additives. The E575R system incorporates an additive
blend-back system so that DBPC flakes or liquid can be added to the regenerated transformer oil

Item #2: 40’ Trailer Installation (Included)

 Plant will be installed in a new North American aluminum van trailer with tandem air-ride suspension/axles, rear
barn-style doors and side man door
 Interior lighting and electrical receptacles
 Dry chemical fire extinguishers
 Equipment installation into the trailer
  1 set aluminum steps for side door
 All necessary oil hose access hatches, air vents, exhaust vents, power cable access hatches, etc.
 Separate office area with sound insulated partition and interior steel door
 Work bench and cabinets in the office area
 Control panel installed and wired in the office section.
 One (1) Split-type air conditioning unit for operator area of the trailer
 Necessary electrical disconnect switches for 380v power supply

Factory Acceptance Test: FIVE (5) DAYS factory acceptance testing included. , shall pay for round-trip airfare,
accommodation and travel to Canada for TWO (2) customer representatives

Training in Pakistan: FIVE (5) DAYS on-site operator training and commissioning is included. An , trained
technician shall provide on-site training and commissioning at customer site

OPTIONAL ITEMS:

Optimum Column Performance Option: Each column includes three thermocouples and an automatically controlled
actuated ball valve for optimum reactivation performance. This allows the most accurate temperature measurement and
optimum reactivation time. Each column is automatically operated by the PLC program and no operator intervention is
required.

Warranty: All equipment manufactured by , will be warranted against defective design, materials and workmanship for a period of
twelve (12) months from date of installation by the original purchaser. Any equipment supplied, but not manufactured, by ,, will be
covered by that manufacturer’s standard warranty.
