Government jobs and Indians:
From the time of independence, we have been inclined towards seeking government jobs, in
search of economic stability and upwards mobility from the ills of the caste system prevalent
then. Even today, the demand for employment in the public sector industries is higher than
privately owned enterprises. The set mentality of Indians has resulted in the rise of demand
for Sarkari Naukri. A 2016 survey, presented from the data obtained, that 65% of the Indian
youth prefer Sarkari Naukri to other jobs.
