Introduction:
After the recession the corporate world has revised the policy
from the beginning, new rules set according to new world order.
Organizations are looking for flexible and new dimension. In
America many people have lost there jobs due this downsizing
which called right sizing. American financial sector and
automobile industry is also being very badly affected. Many of
American well known Banks are bankrupts. Stock Exchanges in all
over the world are crash due to this horrible recession. This
depression is now spreading all over the world Dubai is the
current example where the real estate in Dubai is the most
effected industry. Pakistan is also under this recession but much
better position than other countries. MCB the largest and well
known bank in Pakistan also had effected due to this recession.
Many of their loan holders are defaulter because of bad political
and business condition. That’s why this is happening in MCB.

 MCB is one of the leading Bank of Pakistan
with a deposit base of about Rs. 280 billion and total assets of
around 300 billion. MCB soon earned the reputation of a solid
and conservative financial institution managed by experiences
executives.

During last fifteen years, the bank has concentrated on

growth through improving service quality, improving in the
technology and people, utilizing its extensive branch network,
developing a large and stable deposit base and managing its non-
performing loans via improved risk management process.

But now this recession trend they affected the business

empire of MCB. As a result bank closed the hiring of new
employees and even bank has closed its some department and
dismissed the respective dept. employees.

Few months back MCB offer a large no of loan facility to its
customers and employees. They are as follows.

Business Sarmaya
Personal Loan
Pyara gher
Car4u

But due to recession or not paid the installment from the loan
holders they cut their services and some of these services are
fully packed.

The people who are related to these fields are release and they
are unemployed...

MCB bank has now making the strategy of attract customer for
deposit and they give them the good interest rate against their
investment.

Recommendation
In my opinion MCB bank is now focus on customer service and
they give chance for new generation and hired qualified people
with the old experienced employees.

MCB start giving loan to its valuable customer but before giving
any loan they know customer very well and fulfilled all there
requirements and maintain the percentage of risk is very low.
