~ Leo Tolstoy
- (VALUE OF TIME AND IMPORTANCE)

1. Generosity of soul
2. Sincerity and
3. Earnestness.

B. Explain this statement by Socrates, “virtue is knowledge and that knowledge is virtue.
“Only the examined life is worth living”

Socrates stated that, “virtue is knowledge and that knowledge is virtue. “Only the

examined life is worth living” because all that is alive and well seeks for their perceived

goodness; and therefore if anyone is unknown and illiterate to what is good, he/she cannot do

what is good, it is because he will always persevere for a mistaken target.

It is in nature to all living things about weighing good and bad. One can justify and do final

verdict on the matter which pertains to what is evil and is what is not. Until then, knowledge is

not only virtue but also rectitude.
