Related Studies about the Pros and Cons of the Internet

Abstract:

The old school way of remembering facts and information is not necessary. With the search engines at

our fingertips, we don’t need to but what we wanted to know was how to use the information that we

gathered. The use of internet has increased tremendously in the past years which were highly discussed

throughout the world. This research was an attempt to investigate whether the use of the internet is

more of a help to people who are making their works faster or slower with the result of being

dependent, idle and addicted to the internet. It is defined as a collection of various services and

resources and social connections. Internet makes it easier for some academic assessments by having

visual presentations and auditory effects as well. However, these advantages and disadvantages of using

the internet sources come from the students’ point of view. In the emergent era of internet use, we

must also learn to differentiate excessive internet use from addiction and be vigilant about further

observations.
