PROJECT
Manufacturing of Surfactants -Using Ethoxylation process. Raw Material used - Lauryl alcohol and
Ethylene Oxide. Surfactants are cleaning agent and used as a
raw material for making detergent.

Alcohol ethoxylates are known for their positive characteristics and industrial
applications such as low toxicity, high biodegradability and excellent cleaning
performance.

Ethoxylation is an industrial process in which ethylene oxide is added to alcohol to give surfactant.
