Course Outcomes:
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to

1. Apply the concepts of number base conversions & understand number representation and
conversion between different representation in digital electronic circuits
2. Able to perform the conversion among different number systems, Familiar with baisc logic
gates, Independently or work in team to build simple logic circuits using basic.
3. Understand Boolean algebra and basic properties of Boolean algebra; able to simplify simple
Boolean Functions by using the basic Boolean properties.
4. To analyze logic processes and implement logical operations using combinational logic
circuits.
5. To understand concepts of sequential circuits and to analyze sequential systems in terms of
state Machines.

Instructions:
1. The objective of the laboratory is learning. The experiments are designed to illustrate
phenomena in different areas of Physics and to expose you to measuring instruments.
Conduct the experiments with interest and an attitude of learning.
2. You need to come well prepared for the experiment
3. Work quietly and carefully (the whole purpose of experimentation is to make reliable
measurements!) and equally share the work with your partners.
4. Be honest in recording and representing your data. Never make up readings or doctor
them to get a better fit for a graph. If a particular reading appears wrong repeat the
measurement carefully. In any event all the data recorded in the tables have to be
faithfully displayed on the graph.
5. All presentations of data, tables and graphs calculations should be neatly and
carefully done.
6. If you finish early, spend the remaining time to complete the calculations and drawing
graphs. Come equipped with calculator, scales, pencils etc.
7. Do not fiddle idly with apparatus. Handle instruments with care. Report any breakage to
the Instructor. Return all the equipment you have signed out for the purpose of your
experiment.
