You are a young doctor, what you see in the ECG???

- heart rate, - heart rythm, - any possible abnormal condi7ons

ECG 1.

ECG 1: NORMAL SINUS RHYTHM

Heart rate 65 bpm, normal sinus rhythm, no significant abnormali7es

ECG 2.

ECG 2: ATRIAL FIBRILLATION with junc%onal Tachycardia [need a longer/clearer rhythm strip :( ]

Heart rate 115 bpm (need longer rhythm strip!), irregular rhythm, abnormal p waves
ECG 3.

ECG 3: VENTRICULAR TACHYCARDIA

Heart rate 167 bpm - chao7c ECG result difficult to dis7nguish p waves, broad QRS complex (360ms)

ECG 4.

ECG 4: MOBITZ type 1 - Second degree AV block

Heart rate 60 bpm

ECG 5.

ECG: HYPERKALAEMIA

Heart Rate: 85bpm, hyperkalemia peaked T waves, slight ST eleva7on in lead V2

DECISION TREE ANSWERS:

1. D - medical history and vitals

2. B - immediately monitor, fluid resus and o2 therapy

3. A - physical examina7on immediately

4. C - PET CT (would probably much rather do an abdominal and chest X-ray with bloodwork rather
than PET-CT but that was not an op7on - I think this case is gastric ulcer mimicking GI malignancy)

5. B - Admit to gastroenterology
