The Safe™
The Original Immobilizer System and the Engine Control Unit (ECU):
The Ignition System Immobilizer is controlled by the Control Unit of the car. They are both
integrated electronically. The immobilizer works by allowing the vehicle to start only when
the original key is used. The key has a microchip with a code in it. The immobilizer reads the
code and gives the “go ahead” to the control unit, which then proceeds to start the car engine.

The SAFE™ can be installed separately or as part of the complete security system.

Safecar’s Safe™ guards the original immobilizer system:

Rising theft rates indicate that the original immobilizer system can be easily bypassed or,
deactivated and neutralized. In order to bypass the Original Immobilizer System, the thief
disconnects the original Engine Control Unit and replaces it with a preprogrammed/breached
unit from another vehicle. That allows the thief to start the car’s engine without the original
keys.

Safecar’s SAFE™ is made out of a sturdy aluminum patented structure and it is installed
through use of a unique system of bolts, manufactured with heat and chemical
treatment, making the bolts harder than any conventional drill.
Any attempts to temper with the SAFE are extremely timely and can damage the ECU,
which is why thieves are discouraged and decide to move on to the next car.
Safecar’s SAFE unit is relatively quick and easy to install and requires no further
maintenance after the set-up. Moreover, it is not as costly as other products on the market.

SC - 107
If the original keys are stolen from the owner, the thief is about to be surprised.

The SC-107 includes a coded “brain” which is installed inside the Safe™.
The coded “brain” requires the use of a unique code and enables only the owner of the car to
start the engine.

The SC-107 provides additional value against auto theft.

The Auto-Tracking System:

• An auto-tracking system is a radio-based
satellite navigation system, which provides
reliable positioning, navigating, and timing
solutions.

• Once installed in the vehicle, the auto-tracking

system sends out signals to specify the current
location of the car to the police in the event

police to trace the stolen car and recover it.
