Monday
1. Go to the video “Top 10 Inspirational Human Achievements of
all Time first part” and try to get the data you regard as crucial.

● Take notes in your notebook and find out any unknown


vocabulary word in a dictionary. Write down what your own
definition of achievement is, which achievement in the top ten
you consider the best and why you consider this. Take a photo
as evidence.

2. Think of a person you know who has had significant


achievements in his/her life. Write about him/her and his/her
achievements.

3. Watch the video “Cool Fashion Designers from Mexico You


Should Know” try to identify the names that are mentioned. Do
you know any of them?

4. Go to your book “Make it Real Professional B1.1” page 1. Read


the article “The Devil Wears Mexican” and the headings. Then,
match them with the different section in the article.

1. Reflect on the following questions:


Have you tried to learn any other language apart from English? Have
you developed any ability related to your major? Have you got any
certification? How can you describe your achievements in a CV?

2. Why are achievements so important in our CV? As Neville Rose


mentioned, you should see your CV as a piece of marketing
literature. In fact, a very important piece of marketing
literature. Your CV is very likely to be your one and only chance

Read the information and make a simple conceptual map


summarizing the most essential information. Take a photo as

3. Go to your book on page 2 and listen to an interview about a


student applying for a Fulbright scholarship. Complete the form
used by the interviewer. After that, read the statements on
activity 2 and classify them as true or false. Take a picture as

4. Open your book on page 3 and identify the activity called


Review. Complete the conversation between two friends using
the words in parentheses in the appropriate form and structure.

complete the sentences with an appropriate word from the box
