TITLE: Gothic Alphabet Pencil Lettering

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

This PLATE aims for the students to:

1. to write letters legibly and uniformly using pencil.

2. to master the free hand skills of writing letters.
3. to fully and clearly define requirements for engineered items in accordance
with standardized conventions for nomenclature.

MATERIALS:

1 – pencil
1 – drawing sheet
1 – ruler

PROCEDURE:

1. Draw the guide grids in drawing sheet using the pencil and ruler.
2. Practice lettering by laying out guidelines that are 1" with 0.3" space in between.
Try to make the letters consistent, and use a consistent line weight. Use the
strokes in the figure as a reference.
3. Draw both the upper case and lower case of the alphabet and also the numbers
as shown on the next page.
4. Use only pencil (Mongol; No.2 or H2) in drawing.

Note: There is no standard measurement on this drawing simply make sure that
your drawing covers 80% of the template.
