RE: OFFER OF ADMISSION TO UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMME FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR
2020/2021
The University of Dodoma is delighted to inform you that you have been selected to undertake a programme of
study leading to a Bachelor of Science in Physics (BSC-PHYS) for the academic year 2020/2021.
Congratulations!
You are hereby required to report to the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences at the University of
Dodoma on 28th November, 2020. Upon reporting, you are obliged to REGISTER into the specified programme
after producing evidence that you have fulfilled the following:
1. Payment of Tuition Fees and Direct University costs as specified in the fees structure (Table 1&2).
Payment of tuition fee can be made in two equal installments, one for a semester; or paid in full for the
whole academic year. The remaining costs must be paid in full before registration (see the attached fee
structure).
2. Submission of original Form Six (6), Equivalent Qualifications and Form Four (4) Certificates. Failure to
produce original certificates or Form Six (6) Results Slip [for 2020 Form Six (6) leavers ONLY] will
disqualify you for registration.
3. Submission of original birth certificate (Affidavits are not accepted).
4. Submission of 4 copies of the duly completed Medical Examination Form (attached) by a Medical Officer In-
charge of the University of Dodoma Hospital.
5. Payment of Health Insurance fee.
a. Members of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) or any other health insurance schemes shall
be required to present their membership cards during registration.
b. Those who are not members of NHIF or other health insurance schemes shall be required to pay the
fee through the NHIF Control Number in Table 1 below.
International students.
Non East-African students are required to pay 200 USD to process the student pass (Tanzania immigration
law requires all international students to acquire student pass). For students from the East African
Community, "Student Pass" is processed free of charge. University internationalization office
(dicce@udom.ac.tz) shall assist the process of obtaining the student pass for all international students.
Be informed that any document presented will be subjected to scrutiny for verification by the University Authorities
upon your arrival. You are advised to bring with you sufficient money to cover meals and accommodation costs.
Fees and other University dues should be paid before arrival using control numbers provided for every
payment as shown in Table 1:

Payments listed in Table 1 can be made through the following options: CRDB Bank, NMB Bank, MPesa,
TigoPesa or Airtel Money.
Note that the registration deadline is 12th December 2020 and the orientation programme will start on Monday 30th
November, 2020 at the University of Dodoma.
