Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to discover the work of a Business Operation Manager? Then apply now! We look forward to you
joining us as an intern (m/f) at the Business Management area (35 hours/week, flexi­time).

Location: Hamburg 
Start: 01.11.2016 
Duration: 3­6 months

As an intern you support the Integration and Business Operation department, which is part of the engineering department of the Single Aisle (SA)
family program. They are responsible for the engineering deliverables linked to design, stress and system installation for the centre and rear
fuselage. Being part of a dynamic environment, they have interfaces to many departments like manufacturing, customer service, quality, both on a
local and a transnational level, and they are involved in the complete end­to­end process: from concept, analysis and design to manufacturing
support and aircraft certification. Their objective is to secure time, cost and quality of the projects.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your exciting tasks:

Perform a mapping of all engineering processes, stakeholders and propose improvement initiatives to streamline the activities
Create an electronic database of past engineering activities to be used for big data analyse
Create driver model for engineering activities

Required skills
You offer:

Enrolled student within Business Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar field of study
Some practical experience in Project Management appreciated
Proficient use of Microsoft Office package, with focus on extended Excel skills (Macro programming), experience in big data analysis
appreciated
English: negotiation level
German is a plus
