My Hub - Final
My Hub - Final
The business being an extraordinary pet day care center. The very essence
and attempt to make it extra-ordinary is by making it more fanticising and a lot
more attractive as to target audience. This has been the source of some subsidary
business held together from the very startup time line of business. The subsidary
business includes pet clinic, pet saloon. It is certain from market research that My
Hub is sure to catch onto the first mover advantage as to Coimbatore city. The
business other than the office and kennel setup has a recoverable disposal as of
investment.

Mission
We will be the leaders in the market of canine care for the upscale
community by providing a positive environment for the animals that we house. Our
operations will instill in owners confidence in our ability to care for their pets in
appropriate ways. We will control significant market share and increase profit as
we grow and expand. We will develop our business conservatively, financing our
growth through operational revenue.
Vision
1. To launch the business and develop sales approaching Rs.1.5 lakhs
per month by the end of the first year.
2. To increase sales by 20% per year for the consecutive four years.
2
Keys to Success
1. The initial office location will be in an upscale community and kennel will
be on the outskirts of the city.
2. My Hub will cater to the needs of our owners as much as possible.
3. My Hub will uphold the statement 'the customer is always right' because
when it comes to pets, owners know best.
4. The business finances will be run in an organized and timely manner.
3
Executive Summary
My Hub is to provide day care service for the pets with aditional amenities.
These additional amenities are to throw up some real light over our service and
would help us capture market within the expected duration. My Hub is lokking
forward to explot the market by utilising its first mover advantage. The company
will be functioning from 24th of March 2011. The main objective of the company is
to provide a quality service with an hygenic and double care home for pets.
Our target market is the upper and upper middle class people in and around
the city. This is because the service is a daycare facility catering to professionals
who have disposable income and the desire to provide quality care for their pets
while they are at work or on a holiday. It is a response to a real market need in a
high-end high-income market.
The first mover advantage has given us positive thoughts about looking at
the market at large rather than segmentation to specific localities within the region.

Benefits to the Community
Economic Development
As the business at large focuses only on pets and pet care it is to provide
opportunities for vetenarians, pet beauticians and trainers. In addition to it provides
good opportunities for drivers and menial job seekers.
This business will provide lots of business opportunities for pet shops and
the pet products businesses as My Hub is looking forward to go on deals with Pet
mart wholesalers in terms of pet food, and other basic pet amenities.
Community Development
There are many homes where pet lovers are left at the dilemma of holding
pets considering their travel and work. My Hub is the appropriate solution for such
unsought queries. It leaves people at ease and also fulfills all their desired passion
on making up for slightly more than what an animal at run is left with, in addition
to the love and care they toss on their pets.
Company Analysis
Form of Business Ownership
This business is a partnership firm striking a deal between just two
individuals. The share holdings of the partners would be an equal share on
investment and returns. The business would be a private limited company since its
startup. The seed capital and the loans to be acquired will be on equal proportions
onto both the partners.

Industry Analysis
The present day has fantasized the thought of holding pets. It is infact
become more of a status holding in many a houses and fashion in a few. Eventually
these people tend to become pet lovers and seek good care and attention for their
pets during their absence. It is quite a tough scenario to hold pets under the care of
maids as trust has a bad image as to the present day on a boss servant relationship.
The fast running world deletes the option of getting accustomed to neighbors
thereby it is impossible to seek their assistance to take care of the owners pet.
The above cited keeps the industry quite an attractive one for new ventures.

Breakeven Analysis
The estimated breakeven point of this business is 25 months. And this is
maximum time we estimated to achieve the breakeven. We may achieve it even in
20 months if our market grows well.
Exit Strategy
If our market grows slow, we will keep doing the business and try to
develop the market in a better way, if it grows fast then we will try to
develop the space for the clinic, saloon and for kennel house. We also
try to improve the labor force according to the development of the
company.
As we are the first mover into the market we don’t have any
competitors at the initial stage.
11
Our raw materials are basically pet foods, and we try to tie up with
two or three dealers to get the materials on time and to avoid any
shortage.
