Unit 7
I. CORE COMPETENCE
1. Understanding knowledge (factual, conceptual, and procedural) based on curiosity about science,
technology, art, culture related to phenomena and events seen in the eye.
2. Trying, processing, and presenting in the realm of concrete (using, unraveling, composing,
modifying, and making) and abstract domains (writing, reading, calculating, drawing and
composing) in accordance with what is learned in school and other sources in the same
perspective / theory.

Students can express ways to express routine activities.
Students can convey facts with varied expressions about routine activities.

b. Core activities
Pre Activity (20 ')
The teacher brings an English calendar to class and shows students and asks the names of
English days.
Students practice saying days of the week.
The teacher then asks students to prepare a blank sheet of paper, and write the names of the
days on the paper and the activities that occur or that they normally do on that day.
Example: Monday: school again, too much homework, I go swimming, etc.
After students finish writing for all days, students are divided into groups of 4-6 students. In
groups, students share their lists with each other and look for similarities and differences
among other group members.
