Page 72 Ex 1:
1) I think that the globalization of urban life is that more and more people are
moving from villages to cities . I believe that in the future a lot of villages
will be lifeless because all the young will move to cities and the elders will
die.
2) I think the members of the “League of Slow Cities” are against it because
they don’t want villages to die, may be they want to establish a balance
between the population in cities and the population in villages.
3) If think it is near the impossible to do such a thing but everything it’s
impossible until it’s done. I really hope they will succeed because even if I
never lived a rural life I do like the sound of it.
