MK I seem to like Knizia's games very much but I never liked this one.
(Mislav)
Basically it's 10 mini dice games with weird rules that, IMO, don't catch the essence of the disciplines
they are representing.
It's like 10 different, random and not that interesting games, each with their own set of hard-to-
remember rules that you'll probably be referring to constantly. No usual Knizian simplicity and
elegance at all.
I guess people who like this game are attracted to the theme (and of course game is free, too), but
to me these mini games don't have much in common with the theme at all.
I guess I would even prefer Yahtzee over this one.

2. Board Game: D-Day Dice: Free Trial Version [Average Rating:6.64 Overall Rank:5219]
Christopher Another typical PnP Dice Game.
(teufen)

Needed components:
- rules
- score sheet + map (on 1 sheet)
- 6 standard D6 dice: 2 red, 2 white and 2 blue (custom dice are an
option, but not really necessary to me)

For my copy, I printed both the Omaha Beach and Gold Beach
map with score sheet on the color printer, and laminated both
maps together, back to back. I use some whit-board markers to
play.

But even more fortunately: the game will be published: 1 year anniversary of D-Day Dice... and a BIG
announcement!

I used the same method as with D-Day Dice: print two maps,
laminated them back to back, and play!

Not all of the games entered are on that list. You might have to refer back to the original thread for

- 4 D6 dice

And if you'd like to pimp the game, you could include some pawns
you might have lying about.

my 2 cents,

- printed "board" - A4/letter paper, can be downloaded from Files
section,
- 30 white D6 dice,
- 1 red D6 dice (I have green one ),

Similar, yes. Both were inspired by the History.com Expedition game, but there are distinctions to
each.

Also, I just posted the file for Dawn of the Dice of the Dead for playtesting. Here's the link. That is
actually quite different than either d6 Shooters or Dice of the Living Dead, though it takes off from
the same basic system as Dice of the Living Dead.

They replenish their stock weekly or bi-weekly. You just have to keep checking in with them. I
imagine if you have a particularly large order, say a block of 200 for each color, you could email
them to let them know to order more that cycle. I've corresponded with them through email before
and gotten good reply times.

Ben Bateson This one deserves to be better known. A sort of dice-wargame,

driven either by cards or randomised board layouts to 'upgrade'
your dice and give them more power to push your opponent's off
the board.

We're not totally convinced that elements of it aren't broken, but

A dice game designed for the Chessex dice tribute contest (March
2010).

Julien Griffon
(captncavern) It's a 2/3-player game that uses 36 dice per player. The dice will be
placed on a 6x6 grid in order to achieve the maximum point total
on a greater number of lines (row or column) than the opponent.

The game was inspired by Take it Easy!, but allows for much more
interaction between players.
