5. Board Game: Doctor Who: Solitaire Story Game (Second Edition) [Average Rating:8.59 Overall Rank:6020]
simon cogan The classic PNP game is now available as a second edition!
(dragoncymru)

A solitaire paragraph-booklet adventure game where the player

so ta e pa ag ap boo et ad e tu e ga e e e t e p aye
assumes the role of the intrepid Time Lord himself - the Doctor!

This web-published game is played using four booklets: Rules,

Adventures, Enemies, and Events. Two six-sided dice are also
required.

An Adventure begins when the TARDIS lands at a location, be it

modern-day London, the wilds of Sherwood Forest, or the distant
planet of Raxacoricofallapatorius. Through actions such as Explore
and Investigate, references in the Adventure book will lead you to
paragraphs in the Events book, allowing you to gather Allies and
discover the plots that are in progress.

Eventually you will reveal the Enemy, each of which has its own 1-
page section in the Enemy book explaining how you might
discover their dastardly Goal. New Actions then open up, allowing
you to Plan, Research, and (hopefully) defeat the Enemy. If you fail
to reveal and Defeat the Enemy within 12 Turns, the Doctor is killed
- maybe your next regeneration will do better (or at least be better
dressed)!

All 4 Core books have been redesigned for 2nd Edition with
content from previous expansions plus brand new material from
the 11th and 12th Doctor's eras.

8. Board Game: Merkez [Average Rating:8.53 Unranked]

Arif Nezih Savi Inspired by the local elections in Turkey and empty promises, in this
(ibiliss)
game you are an Urban Planner and your goal is to impress the
current Mayor by getting the most points with your blueprint,
showing plans to build schools with bike roads, animal hospitals,
fundings, provide free Wi-Fi, assign Civil Servants to hospitals and
schools. Every building needs civilians, you will get minus points if
you have unemployed people(a civilian not assigned to a building),
even if you can't build a building, you have to build a
road/pavement on every turn, whatever curve the die allows.

Eventually trying to be the next Mayor..

The game consists of several rounds. Each round the players take
g p y
their turns one by one, starting with the first player and continuing
clockwise. During a round the following phases happen in this
order:

Throw dice
First Player claims a Promise Card (optional)
Players claim regions according to the dice and draw symbols

End of the round

Score points by drawing icons in the colored regions, the game

ends when no free spots remain on any player's player sheet. The
player with the highest score at the end of the game wins!

9. Board Game: Age of Sovereigns [Average Rating:8.43 Unranked]

Sergey Dembitskyi At its core, "The Age of Sovereigns" is a military strategy, but the
(Serj_Ukr)
game is not limited strictly to combating. An important part of
gameplay is the construction of buildings (common and special
buildings, 26 total). Due to these constructions players can multiply
their wealth and / or fame, along with the development of the army.
The game is divided into various stages. In the era of "Kingdoms
Rising" players gradually get bonuses specific to the kingdom. In
the era of the "End of Times" all events are resolved. These two
steps constitute the main part of the game, when the players give a
variety of orders and fight. In the era of "Destiny" victory points and
fines are scored.
The dice are not used during the battles, so the game is not that
much random
The game has low downtime and relatively short playing time (30
e ga e as o do t e a d e at e y s o t p ay g t e (30
minutes per player).

GAME COMPONENTS (For Two Players):

David Griffin Been a while since I downloaded them, but you need the rules. I think they are here
(carbon_dragon)
https://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/127058/star-trek-dice...

Then if you're not going to get a mat from Artscow, you need the game board
https://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/146810/colour-game-bo...

Then you need some deck of cards. The basic cards are
herehttps://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/146811/colour-game-ca...

Though you could get this deck from artscow I think and probably the Animated series deck and
the original series deck, and I think there is a next gen deck there somewhere.

Then you need dice so you either have to have some done or get Joe Propati (Kingspud on BGG)
Then you need dice, so you either have to have some done, or get Joe Propati (Kingspud on BGG)
to do some laser carved dice for you or you need sticker dice which I suspect you will need this for
(haven't tried these, you can also make your own stickers)
https://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/132239/dice-stickers or you can use the dice normally
and refer to the rules.

I also see the other decks on the file section too. My favorite is the TAS deck (the animated series).

Number of Players: Two players
Game Time: 15-30 minutes
Genre: Non-collectible card game
Theme: Wild West
Components: 54 cards, 6 paper clips
Derrick
(Sunseteer) Gunfighter is a light (15-30 minute) non-collectible card game for
two players that features high stakes dueling through simultaneous
action selection.

During each game, the player’s goal is threefold: increase two main
stats (accuracy and bullets), successfully land shots on the enemy,
and avoid the enemy's shots.

Although the game is easy to learn, the many combinations of

individual playstyles and possible card variations create high
replayability, tension during card reveal, and strategic depth.
