The British Meals
The first meal of the day on the morning is breakfast (usually eaten between about 6.30
and 9 a.m).A lot of people eat toasts with butter ,jam, mamelade ,sausages, cereals, eggs,
mushroom ,fried bread ,bakes beans ,juice and a cup of tea or coffee.
The British can have a tea break (elevense) ;they have a sandwich or cakes.In the middle
of the day,they have lunch sometimes formally called lunchon.Many of them prefer going to
restaurants because they work. Between 3.30 and 5 p.m, they havea small meal; tea with
wafers or biscuits.Finally at 8p.m ,they get dinner which is a light meal.It is made of soups.
