3. EXAM OBJECTIVE: CREATE A HOUSEHOLD GOOD TO BE USED TO

OF A SENTENCE, A PARAGRAPH, AN OUTLINE AND A
COMPOSITION.
4) WRITE THE OUTLINE BEFORE THE EXAM. YOU WILL BE ASKED
TO PASTE IT IN THE EXAM.
5) WRITE THE EXAM USING THE INFORMATION IN YOUR OUTLINE
6) EXAM DATE: July 23rd. Time: 9:00 am.

INTRUCTIONS FOR THE EXAM DAY:

1. CONNECT in the Zoom platform and let me know


you are ready to take the written exam.
2. I will send you the exam via Google Drive
3. OPEN THE INVITATION I WILL SEND FOR THE
EXAM.
4. Use your PRODUCT PLAN (outline) to write your
EXAM
5. You will have 1 hour to write your PROPOSAL.
6. Write the proposal in paragraph form.
7. When you finish writing the exam, send me a
WhatsApp message, or let me know in the class chat
that you are finished.
8. Make sure you have a camera, because you will need
to have it on during the exam.
9. JUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN IN
THE EXAM, DURING THE EXAM.

THE ENGINEERING PROCESS

SITUATION:

You work in for SNS Design. You need to create a product for a large
manufacturing company that makes a wide variety of Household products.
Your company received a lot for money from FDCI to complete your project.
So, do not worry about money, you have all the money to make your
product.

It is your job to present proposals for new R&D projects.

The household product must be good to solve an existing social problem or


household problem related to the Covid 19 crisis.

EXAMPLE TO FORMULATE YOUR PROBLEM:

SOCIAL PROBLEM: Robot sweeper to sweep under
Coronovirus the bed
Housewives, house cleaners, I
HOUSEHOLD PROBLEM: when I clean the house

OUTLINE:

1. STATE THE PROBLEM AND THE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM proposed


by you. What is the problem you are going to solve?
a. Name the product you will create to solve this problem.
2. OBJECTIVES of your R&D project.

3. CUSTOMERS that will be using your final product. (Example:


Homecenter)
a. Explain who will be the final users of your product (Example:
housewives)
b. How will the final user/customers use your product?

4. PRODUCT PROPOSAL

You need to present the product OUTLINE completing the following


information:

a. What is the product?


b. What kind of research are you going to do before creating your
product?
c. What ideas do you have to develop (make/create) your product?
d. How are you going to test this product before putting it in the market?
e. What will be an estimated price for your product?
f. How will your company, your customers and society benefit from using
your product.

5. YOUR TEAM
a. What professionals are necessary for developing your product?
b. Who will be the people working in your team?
c. How are you going to generate ideas to create this product?
