Chester & Cheshire Cocktail Competition 2011

Dear entrants,

Please find below the rules and regulations for the competition.

Cocktail Competition:-

Original entries to be submitted via email to Joseph @Residence.uk.com

 From which all entrants will be invited to participate in the final which will take place on
20th February 2011
 Entries must contain Bacardi 8yr old

The core ingredient must be Bacardi 8 yr old and there are no limitations on the mixer, or other spirits used
to make the drink

Ingredients must be commonly available

All recipes must be original

Entrants may use homemade produce

All entries must include full recipes methods including any homemade produce made prior to the event
including garnishes.

Bacardi 8 yr old will be provided however all other ingredients & garnishes will need to be supplied by the
entrant

Our standard glassware is available to use however entrants are advised to bring their own equipment and
glassware.

Flair Competition - (can be entered separately)

You have 3 minutes to wow the crowd and produce a drink of your choice using Bacardi 8 yr old. (no fire)

Timings

 Entry closes at midnight 9th February 2011

 Shortlisted entrants will be notified by email or telephone no later than Thurs 10th January 2011

 Final to take place Sunday 20th February 2010 - cocktail competition heats start at 3pm & Flair final at
9pm
The winner - Cocktail Competition

1st Place

The winner will receive two airline tickets to Amsterdam including accommodation at 4* hotel . A complimentary
meal for two at Piste Restaurant in Tarporley, with a bottle of house Champagne.

2nd Place

Will receive a magnum of Champagne and a meal or drinks voucher for £100 at Residence Restaurant & bar.

3rd Place

A bottle of spirit sponsored by Bacardi Brown Forman.

All entrants will receive a Bacardi bartender’s kit.

Terms & Conditions of entry

 The closing time and date for entries is midnight of the 9th February 2011

 One person can only enter one drink

 No responsibility is accepted for any entry which is lost, delayed or damaged for technical or other
reasons. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt

 Entrants must be able to attend the final on Sunday 16th January 2011 starting time of 7pm

 Shortlisted entrants will be notified by email or telephone. In the event that an entrant cannot be
contacted by that date, or is unable to attend on the date of the final, a reserve entrant may be selected

 Promoter cannot accept responsibility for the acts or omissions of third parties

 Winner will need to validate his/her identity and age before being able to take the prize

 Winner may be required to participate in future publicity and by entering the competition consent to the
use of their name and image for marketing and promotional purposes

 The prize is as stated, is non transferable and there is no cash alternative. Promoter reserves the right to
award an alternative prize of equal or greater value should the original prize become unavailable for any
reason. Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend this promotion in the event of any
unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control

 This promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of
the English Courts

 The decision of the promoter in all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into

Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by participating in this promotion

After Party
After the event has been held we will have our Resident DJ playing till late. All cocktails will be £5.00 along with
sponsored beer at £2.50.

Afterhours Memberships will be available on the night which entitles every card holder discounted cocktails and
selected draught beer & bottles every weekend after 11pm.
