SINOTRUK ZIMBABWE

To: Thembinkosi Ndlovu (Sinotruk Sales Manager)

Ref: SINOTRUK PART SALES CUSTOMER VISITS

On the 20th of October as Sinotruk part sales we made customer visits to AfroChine Smelting
P/L, Nengo Builders and Sqneed Chrome Zimbabwe. Following a change of addresses and
contacts of some firms we had to cancel visits but rather went further to make marketing
calls to Zambezi Gas Zimbabwe and Road Truckers.
We started by visiting Nengo Builders Hardware in Greendale, although the workshop and
logistics manager was absent we engaged the fellow staff who were present and notified
them about SINOTRUK truck sales, after sales and part sales. They however asked of our
contacts and they gave us their Workshop manager contact whom we have since engaged
and has promised to visit SINOTRUK ZIMBABWE as soon as he returns from attending their
trucks in Mberengwa.
From Nengo Builders we proceeded to Avondale where AfroChine was once located but
they have since moved to Highlands. We went to Highlands and we told that premises are
only for Administration purposes but however we were encouraged to contact their
Logistics manager or rather to visit their Head Office and Workshop in Selous, Chegutu to
which the visit has been reserved for the coming Midlands business trip which is already on
the cards.
We travelled to Southerton were Sqneed Chrome Zimbabwe administration offices are
located. And similarly to AfroChine Smelting, their office is mainly the administration office
and therefore we were referred to go to Lalapanzi where they their chrome mines are
located and to view and attend to workshop technicians who are on the ground with HOWO
trucks. But however they advised that if they need to add another fleet to their operations
they will get in touch with SINOTRUK ZIMBABWE for all parts and accessories.
We made calls to Road Truckers located in Kwekwe, but however their Transport and
Logistics number seems to be engaged all the time although we have a contact for their
Marketing representative who was not sure of how their workshop trucking logistics are
done.
Therefore, we’re in continual pursuit of both current and potential clients to grow the
SINOTRUK ZIMBABWE brand. However there is need for more advertising along major city
highways and round about inter exchange routes as being done by our fellow competitors in
the motoring industry who have since been placing more billboards along most roads
leading to the affluent suburbs.
SINOTRUK ZIMBABWE
The main focus of these customer visits is to analyse the key components of a superior
SINOTRUK/HOWO truck and spare parts sales strategy and to maintain a better after sales
relationship with clients and as well as to keep an up to date SINOTRUK clientele database.
