2 SOUTHPARK
2.1 GENERAL
a. BRE highlighted that there is a requirement for a 3m separation
between the Westin building and Southpark Podium with only the INFO
Ballroom at Lvl 04 to be closer than 3m to Westin building.
b. DPA presented 4 Options for St Regis programmatic zoning in
Southpark. INFO
2.3 CIRCULATION
a. MAR mentioned that without the retail for Option 3, the escalator INFO
that serves the Ballroom will be occupying too much valuable
space and suggested that it be removed.
b. DPA to remove the escalator and replace it with 2 additional lifts DPA
for the Ballroom.
c. DPA to allocate 2 of the 4 office lifts to be accessible from all the DPA
basement levels.
d. Lift Allocation
INFO
i. Hotel – 3 Lifts
ii. Office – 4 Lifts
iii. Ballroom / Retail – 4 Lifts
iv. Service – 2 Lifts
e. DPA to ensure that the Ballroom adheres to the FLS code with
adequate number of Fire escape stairs and distance to it. DPA
f. DPA to cater more area for the Loading/ Unloading dock on Level DPA
01. VZ suggested that a mezzanine level be used for deboxing
areas, etc, due to the available 6.1m of height.
