Its rare to get a chance to work at a company like Freshworks who is disruptive in

their target market, developing globally at a rapid pace while still staying true
to its roots by putting its customers as the top priority. The icing on the cake is
the fact that this company was founded and launched in Chennai, the place I call
home. Throughout the 4 years of my BE at SSN College of Engineering, I have
interacted with various college seniors and friends who have worked or interned at
Freshworks. Every single one of these people have had nothing but praise for the
amazing work culture and the interesting projects they had worked on. As a person,
I am always attracted to roles where I can show my individuality apart from what is
typically required and commit 100% to whatever task I do. Freshworks's ideals of
valuing ease of use and simplicity over everything else is something that resonates
with me as well. In conclusion, I believe Freshworks will be great place for me to
start my career as a Software Engineer. Just like Mr. Girish Mathrubootham's
initial blog writeup about Freshworks on Hacker News which helped him launch the
company, I hope my write-up will help launch my career at Freshworks.

I am interested in pursuing the Software Engineering role as I am passionate about

building and improving software applications which any pain point for a user.Right
from the first Python course I did on Coursera in class 10, I have had a great
liking towards Computer Science and building applications for a variety of problem
statements. I enjoy teamwork and find it helpful in boosting productivity. I
personally find the quest of identifying and solving bugs to be very fulfilling.
With respect to career prospects, I would love to work on solutions and
applications in the domain of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. In a
few years time, I would love to be a Technical Lead or Engineering manager where I
will be able to supervise a product team and provide technical insights coupled
with the required planning for successful execution.
