7th grade Travel Brochure Project

You will research and gather information on a Spanish-speaking country in

order to create a travel brochure. You need to give useful information,
include attractive pictures so you can get as many tourists to visit your
country as possible.

Your travel brochure needs to contain:

1. name of the country and flag

2. general description of the country including Geography (continent,
bodies of water or countries that border it)
3. information about the People, Natural Resources, and History
4. information about the Culture of the country: food, music, art,
celebrations/festivals, dances, holidays, customs, religion, etc.
5. attractions - such as beaches, mountains, rain forests, wildlife,
historical sites, national parks, and any activities that tourists can do
while vacationing there
6. Your brochure will also be graded on appearance. Make it bright and
colorful with drawings and illustrations and pictures.
7. Include bibliography

Your scoring rubric is attached to assist you with the project. We will be
using Microsoft Publisher to create our travel brochures.
