In 2017, it was reported about the TB cases number that were found and
treated only 56 cases with a CDR of 67.4%, it means that achievement was still
very low when compared to the CDR target of 100% or the target of found and
treated cases as many as 83 cases. As a follow up, we made an innovation called
"PELITA HATIKU".

TB suspects Screening is one of the important variables for evaluating TB disease

control programs. TB Suspects Screening plays a very important role in
determining the probability of finding TB patients, it means that the greater
number of Suspects who are obtained and examined, the greater chances of
finding TB patients among the Suspects.

PELITA HATIKU innovation empowers cross-sectoral, community and

maximizes rural nurses and midwives as coordinators, we presume that they more
understand and are closer to the community than the implementers of the TB
program at the Community Health Center. With the involvement of the
community, the effort to discover TB suspects can be done more persuasively. To
make TB control efforts become a system in a rural place through initiation and
coordinative efforts, these efforts include: cross-sector MOUs, integrated discover
for TB suspects, TB workshops.

The cchievements of TB suspects detection has increased significantly from the

previous year. The achievement of TB suspects in 2017 werw 328 people and in
2018 were 791 people. The increased number was followed by an increase in TB
cases detection which almost doubled from the previous year, in 2017, the
achievement of TB cases detection were 56 cases and in 2018, there were 103
cases. Our hope is to maximize the acceleration of the TB suspects detection, so
that we can find TB cases earlier to break the chain of transmission.
