• No brickwork is required
• No de-shuttering is required
• No external plastering is required
• No gypsum (or internal plastering is required)
• No curing required for walls
• No honeycombs, voids or steel corrosion
• Waterproofing requirements come down due to impermeable membrane of the wall forms (not required
on any of the wall surfaces even in bathroom/toilet/kitchen/external walls)
• Service conduits (electrical and plumbing) are installed in the formwork prior to casting the concrete,
thus reducing the number of trades
• Labour numbers and overheads (such as labour camp, labour compliances, labour issues) are
significantly reduced due to the above factors and the lego-block like nature of the construction.
• Flexibility of different designs is possible due to the modular nature of the form work, which is not
present in repetitive formwork
• Construction time is reduced, thus leading to reduced overheads
• Customer commitment on timely delivery is easier due to reduced labour, reduced trades and ease of
construction
• Multiple buildings can be started simultaneously and project exit can happen much faster as there is
no dependency on single piece of repetitive formwork
• Upfront capital investment not required as payment to be done for wall forms floor wise
• All this leads to faster returns on capital invested, a better IRR
