Cleaning Myths
A sparkling, clean, and flawless house is the dream of many people. There are plenty of cleaning tips
and tricks that are passed down through generations. As a matter of fact, only a few of them are true.

Did anyone ever tell you that vacuuming too often will damage your carpet? Or that freezing your
jeans is an absolute way to clean them without water? Do these tips and tricks actually work?

Your grandmothers may have told you that bleach is an absolute cleaner that removes all stains and
marks. Is it the real truth? Bleach is a disinfectant that kills germs and removes stains, but is not able
to get filth off the surface. Thus, some of the olden days’ cleaning tricks are simple myths that
definitely need to be altered.

Using Cleaning Supplies Properly
While working with synthetic cleaning products on a daily basis, you can easily forget how harmful
they can be. Since they contain harmful chemicals, it is vital to consider the concerned precautionary
measures in order to avoid painful injuries.

Cleaning supplies can get significantly reactive when mixed with other chemicals. These artificial
products can cause severe damage to your skin or eyes. It is better to avoid mixing different cleaning
products. Wearing rubber gloves is also a good idea.

Taking adequate measures to protect yourself from dangerous cleaning supplies is beneficial for your
own safety. Furthermore, you are likely to enjoy the best results in the form of a clean and spotless
house only when you use cleaning products in the right manner.
To clean a kitchen or bathroom, most people usually rely on strong chemical cleaners as they are
believed to remove dirt and grime completely. As a matter of fact, some natural ingredients, including
baking soda, organic soap, vinegar, lemon, or corn starch, are better alternatives for household
cleaning tasks.
Homemade Cleaning Recipes
Cleaning your home is a task that you may have to do on a regular basis. After all, a squeaky clean
house not only portrays you as an organized and responsible individual, but also helps you avoid
numerous diseases. To achieve the simple target of maintaining a clean house, you would definitely
need some cleaning products and agents. It is important to use the right cleaning supplies to ensure
quick, efficient, and complete cleaning.
Nowadays, every modern home is full of toxic chemicals and substances that claim to make your life
trouble-free. No matter what these products claim, they present severe health concerns for your family
and also become a major source of environmental pollution.

The ingredients and chemicals present in synthetic cleaning products can even cause asthma, sinusitis,
bronchitis, or various other allergies. In order to avoid such health risks, it is imperative to replace
synthetic cleaning supplies with more reliable products.

For most home-cleaning tasks, you can create your own cleaning supplies right at your home. Making
cleaning supplies at home is not a difficult job. You just need the basic recipes and willingness to get
the job done.
