SNOWSGIVING 2020 “DISCORD SHORTS” ("CONTEST")

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THE CONTEST.
Purchase will not improve the odds of winning.

Please read these Official Rules (the “Official Rules”) before entering the Contest. By entering the Contest,
you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements
below.

Eligibility​: The Contest is open only to individuals who (a) are residents of one of the 50 United States or the
District of Columbia and (b) and 18 years or older at the time of the contest entry. Directors, officers and employees
of Sponsor, and any of either of their respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, and
advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate families of each, are not eligible to win any prize.

Sponsor:​ The Contest is sponsored by Discord Inc. (“Sponsor” or “Discord”).

Contest Period​: The Entry Period for the Contest (the “Entry Period”) starts at 10:00:00 AM (all times Pacific
Time) on December 4, 2020 and ends at 11:59:59 AM December 9, 2020 (the “Entry Deadline”). All entries must
be received during the Entry Period on or before the Entry Deadline to be eligible to win.

How to Enter​: An individual will enter the Contest by completing the google form and submitting a 60 second
video on how they use Discord to connect with friends in a specifically designated channel in the Discord
Snowsgiving Server (each an “Entry”). There is a limit of one (1) entry per individual, multiple entries under alias’
will be disqualified.

Criteria and Judging: ​Entries will be judged on originality and creativity.

Beginning on ​December 10, 2020 ​and ending on ​December 11, 2020​ (the “Review Period”)

The Winners will be announced on or about December 11, 2020.

● Every submission will be awarded a one-month subscription to Nitro (valued at $10.00USD)

● Top 10 submissions will be awarded a Discord Snowsgiving swag pack and a chance to be featured on
Discord’s social media channels. (valued at $135USD)

The Winners will be notified via a communication to the Winner’s Discord account or email on or about December
11, 2020 Sponsor is not responsible for any failure of delivery of notice attempting to use such methods. The
potential winners will be required to respond to the Sponsor’s notification within 48 hours from notification and in
accordance with the instructions therein, or the Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.
Potential winners will be required to provide (or confirm) to Sponsor, and each of their respective contractors and
agents information that includes, but is not limited to, the following: name, email address, street address, city, state,
zip code, daytime telephone number, date of birth, ownership of Entry, and verification of eligibility under and
agreement to these Official Rules. The potential winner may be required to execute and return a completed original
notarized affidavit of eligibility/release of liability and (except where prohibited) publicity/name/likeness release
form (collectively, “Prize Claim Documents”). Failure to complete, execute, notarize, and return all required Prize
Claim Documents as specified within the specified time period may result in the winner’s disqualification. In the
event of any such disqualification or any other disqualification permitted under these Official Rules, or in the event
that any prize notification is returned as undeliverable for any reason, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate
winner may be selected, or Sponsor may, to the extent permitted by applicable law, elect not to award the Prize to
anyone. The Prize restrictions and conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive. The Prize described above may be
subject to additional restrictions and conditions, stated in the Prize Claim Documents and/or other travel documents.
The odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. No substitutions or exchanges of
any prize will be permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or a component thereof)
for one of equal or greater value, including if the Prize should become unavailable for any reason. All details of the
Prize are subject to change at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor makes no warranties and hereby disclaims any
and all warranties, express or implied, concerning any prize furnished in connection with the Contest. All prizes are
awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation,
any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND
LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE ARE THE WINNER'S SOLE
RESPONSIBILITY​.

Contest Rules​: In order to be eligible, your Entry must adhere to these Official Rules as well as the following:

·​ ​Your Entry must adhere to Discord’s Terms of Service, currently located at

https://discordapp.com/terms (the “Discord Terms”), which apply to this Contest. Please note that
your Entry constitutes Your Content as defined in the Discord Terms, your Entry and
communications must comply with the rules of conduct and usage outlined in the Discord Terms.
Your Entry itself is the property of Discord.

·​ ​Without limiting the foregoing, your Entry must not: Be objectionable as outlined in Discord’s
Community Guidelines; defame, libel, ridicule, mock, stalk, threaten, harass, intimidate or abuse
anyone; or be fraudulent or illegal or otherwise harmful to Discord or any other user or individual.

Without limiting the Discord Terms, ​your Entry must be your own original work. It cannot infringe on the
copyrights or other intellectual property rights of another individual, corporation, or entity unless otherwise noted in
these terms. In its sole discretion, the Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person that it determines has
violated the Discord Terms, Discord’s Community Guidelines, or these Official Rules, or tampered with the entry
process, or the operation of the Sponsor’s web site. The Sponsor further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or
modify this Contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs,
tampering, unauthorized intervention, force majeure, or technical failures or difficulties of any sort.

In the event of a dispute about the entrant's identity, Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder
of the Discord account. The potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential
winner is the authorized account holder associated with the winning Entry.

Indemnification and Release. By entering the Contest, you agree to indemnify and hold Sponsor and each of
their affiliates, employees, contractors, and agents (the “Released Entities”) harmless from and against any
and all third party claims, actions, or proceedings of any kind and from any and all damages, liabilities, costs,
and expenses relating to or arising out of any breach or alleged breach of any of the warranties,
representations or agreements of you under these Official Rules. By entering the Contest, you also agree to
release the Released Entities from any liability whatsoever and waive any and all causes of action related to
any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or
delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use the prize (including, without limitation,
claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of
property, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including
negligence), warranty or other theory.

Limitation of Liability. BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, TO THE EXTENT THE RELEASE IN THE
PRECEDING PARAGRAPH DOES NOT PROHIBIT YOU FROM RECOVERING ANY AND ALL DAMAGES
FROM THE RELEASED ENTITIES, YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY
APPLICABLE LAW: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION INVOLVING OR
AGAINST ANY OF THE RELEASED ENTITIES ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE CONTEST,
OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED (COLLECTIVELY, “CLAIMS”), WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY,
WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS WILL BE LIMITED
TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY) NOT TO EXCEED FIVE
DOLLARS (US$5.00), BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE;
(3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD
FOR, AND YOU HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVE ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE,
INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, AND/OR ANY OTHER
DAMAGES FOR ANY CLAIMS, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED
FIVE DOLLARS (US$5.00), AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE
INCREASED; AND (4) YOUR REMEDIES FOR ANY CLAIM ARE LIMITED TO AN ACTION FOR MONEY
DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND YOU IRREVOCABLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR
EQUITABLE RELIEF. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OR
EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Use of Name and Likeness. Except where prohibited by law, entry into the Contest constitutes permission to use
entrant’s name, city of residence, likeness, and/or prize information, and video submissions without limitation, for
Sponsor's promotional purposes without further permission or compensation.

General Terms and Conditions​, The Contest and these Official Rules will be governed, construed, and interpreted
under the laws of the State of California. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and municipal laws
and is void where prohibited. Any provision of these Official Rules deemed unenforceable will be enforced to the
extent permissible, and the remainder of these Official Rules will remain in effect. ​Sponsor shall not be responsible
for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged, or misdirected entries and accept no responsibility for any injury, loss,
or damage of any kind resulting from an entrant’s participation in this Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to amend
these Official Rules or to terminate this Contest. These Official Rules may be changed at any time, but only by the
Sponsor and only by posting new rules on the Sponsor’s website or via the Discord service (including the user
forums). These Official Rules will not be construed to impose upon the Sponsor any obligations for any losses,
debts, or other obligations incurred by any Contest participant. By entering, entrants certify that they have complied
with these Official Rules and are eligible to win. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and
by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. The Contest and all accompanying
