Borobudur Temple

Borobudur is Hindu - Budhist temple. It was build in the nineth century under Sailendra dynasty
of ancient Mataram kingdom. Borobudur is located in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia.

Borobudur is well-known all over the world. Its construction is influenced by the Gupta
architecture of India. The temple is constructed on a hill 46 m high and consist of eight step like
stone terrace. The first five terrace are square and surrounded by walls adorned with Budist
sculpture in bas-relief. The upper three are circular. Each of them is with a circle of bell shape-
stupa. The entire adifice is crowned by a large stupa at the centre at the centre of the top circle.
The way to the summit extends through some 4.8 km of passage and starways. The design of
borobudur which symbolizes the structure of universe influences temples at Angkor, Cambodia.

Borobudur temple which is rededicated as an Indonesian monument in 1983 is a valuable


treasure for Indonesian people.

KING OF THE JUNGLE


Animals which commonly live in a group and dense forests or savannas which have lots of food
are Lion. A group of lion consists of one male and many females. The male is the leader of the
group who keeps the male lions and hunting areas, while the female lions have a task to look for
food by hunting together.

Lion is often referred to call as the king of the jungle because lion is a very wild and malignant
animal. Their big body and sinister face coupled with a long mane makes his enemy fears against
them.

Their Weight can reach 225kg for males and 150 kg for females. In general, lion age could reach
10 to 15 years in the wild but if they are kept in a cage, they could reach 20 years old. This is
because the lions kept alive by human, their foods will be guaranteed.

When compared with other big cats, lions look more powerful. However, lions cannot climb a
tree like most other cats. Their mane is used to protect them from his enemies during a fight. A
fight between a male lion is very common in the wild. They fight over territory and females. For
those who win will have the hunt region and group, while the loser will leave the region.
MONAS NATIONAL MONUMENT

The Monas National Monument is a 132-meter tower in the center of Merdeka Square, Central Jakarta,
Indonesia Jakarta, is the capital of the state. It symbolizes the struggle for Indonesian independence of
our country. The monument consists of a 117.7 m obelisk on a 45m square platform at a height of 17 m.
The towering monument symbolizes the philosophy of Lingga and Yoni. Resembles a phallus, or pestle
mortar pestle and Yoni resembles rice or mortar, two important things in the tradition of Indonesian
agriculture. Construction began in 1961 under the direction of President Sukarno, the first president of
the us and the monument was opened to the public in 1975. It is topped by a flame covered with gold
foil, and now the monument calls.

MOUNT CIREMAI

  Mount Ceremai often mistakenly called " Ciremai "  is a volcanic cone that is administratively
included in the three districts , namely Cirebon , Kuningan and Majalengka, West Java Province.
The geographical position of the peak is located at 6 ° 53 ' 30 "latitude and 108 ° 24 ' 00 " East,
with an altitude of 3,078 m above sea level. This mountain is the highest mountain in West Java.

  is mountain has a double crater. Western crater radius 400 m east of the crater that was
interrupted by a radius of 600 m. At an altitude of about 2,900 m above sea level on the southern
slopes of the eruption are former Gowa called Swallow.

  Ciemai now belongs to the National Park area of Mount Ciremai (TNGC), which has a total
area of approximately 15,000 hectares.
The name is derived from the word mountain ciremai ( Phyllanthus acidus, a kind of small
fruiting shrubs is rather sour ), but is often called Ciremai , a hiperkorek symptoms due to the
many place names in the region Pasundan use the prefix 'ci -' for naming the place.

office. Prior to that, she worked at a number of reputable hotels such as Radison Hotel Jakarta, Aston
Hotel Jakarta, and Novotel Nusa Dua Bali.

     Born in Jakarta, she is a graduate of BPLP Bandung majoring hotel management and of Dwipa Wacana
University in majoring management. With her strong background in reservations, front office and sales
she will be a valuable asset to Le Meridian Nirvana Golf and Spa Resort. As the sales representative in
Jakarta, she will be based at Le Meridian Jakarta Hotel.
