DENSOPLAST®-Tape
Cold applied petrolatum tape
according to DIN 30672 and EN
12068 (stress-class A-30) for the
corrosion protective coating of
buried or immersed pipes, operating temperatures up to
pipeline installations or other 30°C. DIN-DVGW Reg.-No.

Description
DENSOPLAST Tape contains a
chemical fibre fleece which is
coated and impregnated with a
corrosion protecting petrolatum
mastic. To prevent the mastic from
being washed out by rising and
falling ground water the exterior
side of the tape is covered with a
polypropylene film. The
permanently plastic petrolatum
compound completely covers metal
surfaces and therefore reliably
protects them against corrosion.
Due to its conformability
DENSOPLAST Tape is particularly
suitable for coating of irregularly
shaped objects. The coating from
DENSOPLAST tape is impermeable
to water vapour and oxygen.
A three layer wrapping from
DENSOPLAST Tape complies with
stress class A-30 according to
DIN 36072 and DIN EN 12068
