Dear Mr Servansingh,

Re: Late Kistnen & Provisional Private Prosecution

District Court of Port Louis

Date: 29th January 2021

I am humbly drawing your attention that the above mentioned case is scheduled for Friday 29th
January 2021.

You will surely recall the statement made by the Barrister-at-Law from the Office of the DPP (ODPP)
in court during last sitting that "the ODPP has since last sitting taken note of the concerns expressed
by Counsel on both sides" and accordingly made a statement that "the ODPP has following a
meeting with DCP Jangi been assured that investigation in the present matter is fast progressing and
the enquiry will be completed soon and the file communicated to the DPP" and it is in that context,
that the ODPP felt that it will serve the administration of justice if this matter is adjourned so that
the ODPP is aware of the content of the investigation before continuing with argument.

It was in these premises that that case has been adjourned to the 29th January 2021 and it is to be
noted that tomorrow is a public holiday.

And no statement has been recorded from the Honourable Sawmynaden.

I hope you realise that the perception that the honourable minister is receiving a royal treatment is
increasing by second. NO! By nano second.

I beg you in the interest of the Republic of Mauritius to see to it that the needful is done at the
earliest. Hope I will not be deceived by the inaction of the police.

Thanking you.

May God bless our Republic

Yours in Peace,

Rama Valayden
