NOTES
The General Notes contained in Section 2.1 shall apply to this Section
 note
2.2.

The Subcontractor shall refer to the Specification and Drawings for all
details related to this Section of the Works and he is to include all
items that he considers necessary for completion of the Works and  note
complying with all the requirements contained therein, whether or not
they are specifically mentioned in this Bill of Quantities.

MOBILIZATION AND DEMOBILIZATION

Allow for provision and mobilization of all necessary piling equipment,

plant and tools, and for their transportation to the Site, handling and

assembling, moving from pile  to pile round the Site including all
necessary associated works.

Allow for demobilization and dismantling of all necessary piling

equipment plant, and tools, and for their transportation from the Site

on the completion of the Works including all necessary associated
works

Allow for providing a working platform of suitable size, strength and

stability to permit operation of the boring plant,etc.

The Subcontractor is to make his own assessment of the existing

ground conditions and allow for the provision of any temporary works

that may be required to permit access and operation of piling plant and
equipment on the site.

Allow for clearing the site of vegetation as required to undertake the

works.

Standing time for all plant, equipment and labor in excess three hours
 F (the initial three hours shall be at the Subcontractor own cost) due to  hr
suspension works given in writing by the Engineer

BORING (PROVISIONAL)

Bore vertical pile hole through whatever soil strata other than
continuous solid rock as described including all drilling and coring,
installation and extraction of temporary steel casings and linings:-

Cut and trim reinforced concrete cast-in-situ bored piles at required

necessary excavation to exposed steel bar reinforcement and
cleaning, straightening and bending projecting high yield steel bar
reinforcement to bond into reinforced concrete pile cap.

TESTING WORKS (PROVISIONAL)
STATIC LOAD TEST

Carry out the Static Load Test on Working bored pile to 1.5 times its
working load or structural capacity as per Engineer's Drawing DWG
NO: _________________ as described including mobilization and
demobilization of plant, equipment, loads, devices, steel beams, jack,
and supporting blocks., etc. The price shall include all supply and
construction of temporary pile cap, test records and reports, cut and
trim the temporary pile cap, and remove all the disposal materials off
site on the completion of the work.

INSTRUMENTED ULTIMATE TEST

Carry out the Instrumented Ultimate Test on Working bored pile to 2.5
times its working load or structural capacity as per Engineer's Drawing

demobilization of plant, equipment, loads, devices, steel beams, jack,
and supporting blocks., etc. The price shall include all supply and
construction of temporary pile cap, test records and reports, cut and
trim the temporary pile cap, and remove all the disposal materials off
site on the completion of the work.
